The first annual Virginia City Round Up set forth to blend custom choppers, FXRs and vintage trucks with a real deal rodeo right in the heart of the Nevada countryside.
The Fuel Cleveland show mixes some of the best custom and vintage motorcycles with different facets of moto-centric art and photography. The event often changes locations each year giving patrons a whole new experience each time and the 2021 show found its home in a very great location that was the best flow the show has had to date. While local stunt riders took to the streets below keeping everyone's blood pumping, this year's massive indoor vendor village and art exhibits were a great way to get excited for the main floor of motorcycles galore waiting in the next room. While the show always takes a very all inclusive approach this years curation of bikes was a very impressive mix. We have been proud to sponsor the event and also showcase our own motorcycles year after year at Fuel. We spoke with Mikey "Revolt" Arnold of Lowbrow Customs, the organizers of the event to get some info on what people can expect from the upcoming 2022 show.
There are many motorcycles that exist only in stories and legends that cruise the highways for years evading the public eye but exist as one of a kind bikes that survive simply because they are just too wild to die. These kinds of "one off" survivors are usually reserved for custom choppers but what about a custom hybrid Harley Honda full dresser? A Honda Davidson or quite possibly a "Harlonda?" Well, we met a gentleman, Paul Atkins, one year at AMA vintage days who owns not only one, but three of these incredible machines and he brought his 1966 Harley Davidson with an SOHC CB750 motor powering it to our Old Bike Barn crossroads bike show and the rest is history and an interesting one at that. We sat down with Paul this year to pick his brain about the origins of his blue beauty which he affectionately refers to as "Psychobilly" and also get some info on the other 2 of these wild hybrid machines he has chosen to own over the years.
Old Bike Barn is proud to sponsor the Biltwell People’s Champ! If you are unfamiliar with Biltwell People’s Champ, we will catch you up. It’s pretty simple, builders from around world submit their builds for consideration for the competition. The crew at Biltwell narrows it down to their favorite 24 entries, from there it’s in the public's hands as to who continues on throughout the competition, hence the name ‘People’s Champ”.
Getting back on track with the annual schedule Milwaukee's Mama Tried show kicked off the 2022 season with a bang this March in the beautiful Eagles ballroom. The event always strives to showcase a very wide variety of motorcycles from every era and genre of the culture. Old bikes, new bikes, sportbikes, dirt bikes mini bikes, choppers and everything in between. You'll be hard pressed not to find a bike you love somewhere in that mix. The hardworking team of Scott Johnson and Warren Heir Jr continue to carry on the tradition of this show and grow it every year. We sat down with Scott Johnson to get his thoughts on the progression of the show as well as some insight on their Brazil branch out event.
